The Future

IUI's ultimate goal is to expand its' product availability throughout the United States and Central / South America. IUI is currently the largest supplier of career uniforms in the Caribbean, and State of Florida. With all that International Uniforms, Inc. has accomplished in servicing its customers IUI is now in the process of launching into the new millenium the Caribbean International Uniform stores (CIU). These are sales and service centers throughout the Caribbean, Netherlands Antilles and U.S. Virgin Island. IUI also has opened a new showroom/service center (Miami International Uniform) in Miami, FL adjacent to the Miami International Airport.

History in the Making

1982 International Uniforms Inc. is founded by two partners, Roger Gorwitz (president) and Terry Garcia (vice-president).
1984 IUI rapidly becomes the supplier of the banking industries in Miami, Florida.
1985 IUI expands its' territory by catering to the Caribbean Islands and sales teams are established in Grand Cayman, Nassau Bahamas, San Juan and St. Martin.
1987 With IUI growing at such a rapid pace, the company is forced to relocate to a larger manufacturing plant in order to keep up with its' increasing customer base.
1990 IUI expands its' territory to Curacao, Aruba, Haiti, Antigua, Netherlands Antilles, St. Croix and South America.
1995 IUI becomes the largest uniform supplier in the Caribbean, and State of Florida with over 1000 customers in the Caribbean alone.
1997 The first Caribbean International Uniform store (CIU) opens in Nassau, Bahamas.
1998 IUI once again is forced to relocate to a BIGGER facility. Equipped with a fully displayed showroom and local service center, IUI is currently located adjacent to the Miami International Airport.
